JIM BOTKIN NAMED "WINNING SOLVER" BY INNOCENTIVE

PORTLAND, Maine - InnoCentive, Inc. announced today that Jim Botkin of
BotkinChemie has received a "Winning Solver" award for his solution to the Challenge
"Increased Crystallization Rate" (InnoCentive Challenge 5420476).  The solution
involved identification of methods to increase the crystallization rate of a semicrystalline
polymer by at least 30% vs. state-of-the-art technology without decreasing its
mechanical properties.  The solution was also required to be non-hazardous,
commercially available, meet cost targets, and provide freedom to practice for the user.

"It's certainly an honor to be selected as the Winning Solver for this Challenge," said Dr.
Botkin when he heard the news.  "After registering as a Solver and checking out the
details of the Challenge on InnoCentive's website (
http://www.innocentive.com), I
developed several technical approaches that I thought had promise to meet the
Challenge requirements."

Jim Botkin is the Sole Proprietor of BotkinChemie, which provides technical and
marketing services to companies in the plastics and specialty chemicals industries.
